and Companions Agencies offering homemaking and companion services offer a variety of home based services. Few provide skilled care, but many offer certified nursing assistants and require a minimum number of hours. Homemaker and companions typically supervise provider care, assist with bill paying and medication reminders, and provide light housekeeping and meal preparation.
