Assisted Living Facility Training

Course
requirements for the licensure of owner/operators of assisted living facility training
may be fulfilled by the successful completion of the Assisted Living Facility Training
Program sponsored by the Colorado Gerontological Society.
In addition to required coursework, the four day session offers several elective classes -
all pertinent to the care needs of the facility resident, and designed to fulfill the
15 hours of elective studies required for licensure by the Colorado Department of Health.

Our next training program will be March 23-26, 2010. The training will be held at
Saint Joseph Hospital, Mullen Building, 1895 Franklin, Denver, Colorado (go to www.mapquest.com to print a map).
Parking is available on the street; The four day session offers several elective classes that are pertinent to the care needs
of facility residents.
Cost for the course for CGS members is $500. Non member fees are $550. Students
must register for the complete four day course - no partial registrations will be
accepted.
