Senior Answers and Services workshops are designed for aging services specialists, and those working with older adults in social service agencies, hospitals, nursing homes, home care, senior centers and other settings. Participants will learn how to qualify their clients for benefits to which they are entitled, to assist in applying for benefits, and advocate successfully for clients in an ever changing world. -------------------------- Senior Issues Briefings provides community leaders, agency staff and directors, and senior advocates, with information about local and national legislative proposals, proposed changes in rules and regulations, and policy changes in service delivery. Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at Heritage Club Mountain View, 8101 E Mississippi, Denver, Colorado the second Tuesday of each month (except January) from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Check at the front desk for the room number. Topics vary. |
