HENRY H. WELCH SCHOLARSHIP

Information and Application

The Henry H. Welch Scholarship is given in honor of Henry H. Welch, PhD., founding member of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Gerontological Society. Dr. Welch's commitment and dedication to the field of aging and human services spanned more than forty years. Dr. Welch was a forerunner and pioneer in the field of aging. This scholarship is given in his memory.

The scholarship will be given to a student who is enrolled in an academically matriculated (graduate or undergraduate) program at a college or university in the state of Colorado. Students who need financial assistance to prepare for work in the field of aging will be considered. In 2008, two awards will be given in the amount of $1000 each at the 28th Annual Meeting on November 14, 2008.
