Holiday Baskets
for Needy Seniors
Every year the Colorado Gerontological Society provides
holiday baskets to low income needy seniors who will be alone during the holidays. All of the baskets are
assembled by volunteers and all food
is donated by the community. Cash donations are also accepted for frozen chickens, fresh fruit, bread and small
personal gifts.
If you are interested in volunteering to assist with assembling the baskets, please complete the registration form
below or download the form and submit to Senior Answers.

If you would like to receive a basket, please fill out the application form
Schedule for packing and delivering of baskets:
- December 17 at 7-9 p.m. -- Tape and assemble boxes, sort food, make holiday cards
- December 18 at 7-9 p.m. -- Sort food and pack boxes, finish making holiday cards
- December 19 at 9 a.m. -- Select routes and deliver boxes to seniors
- December 19 at 11 a.m. -- Holiday party for all volunteers at 1000 Krameria, Denver
