Medicare is a very complex subject. Many times, Medicare beneficiaries have very specific questions about their own particular situation. Annually Medicare changes premiums, deductibles, and co-payments. In addition, private contractors who work with Medicare providing Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage programs and Medicare Prescription Drug programs change their coverages, premiums and co-pays regularly causing even more confusion.

Furthermore, questions often arise because individuals do not understand the difference between such things as open enrollment, annual enrollment and special enrollment. The following items provide discussions about some of these concepts to help Medicare beneficiaries make decisions.
