Holiday Food for Needy Seniors

Senior Answers and Services is collecting food for 200 seniors who are low income and will be home alone without family and friends during the Holidays. Food collections will include corn, green beans, peas, boxed potatoes, rice, noodles, cranberry sauce, pickles, olives, dressing, deserts, and other festive foods for a Holiday Dinner. Cash donations are also accepted. Food can be delivered to SAS, 3006 East Colfax, Denver.

Senior Answers and Services is also recruiting volunteers to assist in assembling Holiday Baskets on December 16 and 17 and delivering on December 18. Baskets will be assembled at the Eastern Star Temple, 220 Acoma, Denver. To volunteer, call 303-333-3482.

Senior Answers and Services, a non-profit agency serving seniors in the Denver area, is sponsoring the Holiday Basket Project.
