Medicare Monday

Medicare Monday participants receive information on the changes, updates and requirements for Medicare Parts A, B, C and D. Information on selecting and changing Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements and Prescription Drug Plans was available. In addition, information was presented on Extra Help or Low Income Subsidy for low income persons needing assistance to pay for prescription drugs and various discount products as well.

Medicare Monday will be October 15, 29 and November 5, 2012 and will feature presentations from Medicare experts on:

• How Health Care Reform Will Affect Medicare
• Changes in Medicare Premiums, Deductibles and Co-Pays
• Why and How to Change Prescription Drug Plans
• How the Coverage Gap or ‘Donut Hole’ Will Be Phased Out
• How to Apply for Extra Help With Prescription Drugs
• Buying a Medicare Supplement
• Options for Individuals Whose Plans Leave the Service Area
