Salute to Seniors
When you think of great TV, what comes to mind? The Golden Age of Television of course! With classic shows like The Twilight Zone, I Love Lucy, and that darn rascal Cleaver Beaver from Leave it to Beaver!, the 1950s and 60s ushered in the age of television to American homes nationwide.
Jerry Mathers, the iconic actor behind Beaver Cleaver, is the featured guest at this year's Salute to Seniors, on May 15, 2013 at the Colorado Convention Center.
The Salute to Seniors is Colorado's largest senior-focused event, and this year features 6 themed rooms, showcasing TV Classics of the 50s and 60s, with themed rooms for Westerns, Comedies, Game Shows, Science-Fiction, and Variety Shows. Bingo games run all day long, small-stage shows reenact your favorite TV moments, and dozens of prices, giveaways and freebies are up for grabs! To top it off, over one hundred senior-focused exhibits feature the best Colorado has to offer. Best of all, buddy tickets are only half price and there are discounts for groups. RTD stops are on-site and free parking is available.
