Senior Programs Face Severe Cuts by Legislature
Funding for senior programs is being targeted by the legislature starting July 1, 2011. As the legislature searches for ways to balance the budget, many of the proposed funding cuts will affect seniors, especially those who rely on government benefits programs to supplement their very low income.
