Help Us Help Seniors on Colorado Gives Day December 5

The Colorado Gerontological Society would be honored for your support on Colorado Gives Day, December 5, 2017.

In the past year, 1,575 individuals attended Medicare workshops, 470 people received Medicare counseling, 1,797 individuals received benefits counseling and 851 low income seniors received vision, hearing, and dental grants in the amount of $1.13 million. Latino elders received more than 20% of the services. The Society reaches the senior population through the STA-Well News, the Salute to Seniors Expo, and Holiday Food Baskets. When you make a contribution to the Colorado Gerontological Society, you can be assured that all of your dollars go to helping seniors.

Your donations help The Society move forward with our mission to provide advocacy, information, and assistance to Colorado Seniors as well as offer education and networking opportunities to professionals who dedicate their work to the needs of the aging.

We know many organizations can use your help. By scheduling your gift on Colorado Gives Day, the $1 Million Incentive Fund created by First Foundation and FirstBank, ensures that the value of every dollar donated increases proportionally. To make an online donation visit our page on Colorado Gives Day.

If you or someone you know could benefit from the programs we offer, we encourage you to contact us. It is our ongoing mission to provide information and services to keep Seniors independent, living healthy and fulfilling lives.

We thank you for your consideration and for any size donation you may wish to make on Colorado Gives Day. Without the generosity of donors such as you, we simply could not accomplish all we do for Colorado seniors. We wish you all the best in the coming year and we encourage you to call on us if we may be of assistance in any way.
