2014 marks the 60th anniversary of Studio 1430, KEZW. 1430 AM signed on the air in November 1954 from the Ranger Motel on East Colfax. They were KOSI AM-1430 back then and they were one of the first rock and roll stations in town. The cool thing is, they were playing the same music back then (Bobby Darin and Pat Boone and the like) that they play today! The station became KEZW in 1987 and have been Swinging the Rockies ever since.
