Studies have shown that volunteering improves the mental and physical well-being of volunteers themselves, particularly those aged 60 and above. Through community engagement, older adults widen their network of friends and remain engaged in society. 100% of nonprofits rely heavily on volunteer labor to help with meeting their mission.
