The 38th Annual Meeting of the Membership of The Colorado Gerontological Society is scheduled for December 7, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at The Argyle: 4115 W. 38th Avenue, Denver. The Annual Meeting will also include a holiday social hour for our members, staff, board of directors and other colleagues.

Keynote Presentation
Karen’s expertise in aging issues began when she spent more than 10 years providing care for her parents and relatives which led her to become an active advocate for the aging population.  In the last five years, she has been a catalyst for gerontechnology – the blending of gerontology and technology – with a focus on improving the lives of the aging population, their caregivers, and families. She now leads efforts to connect innovators in aging, including startups (one-person shops to large multi-division corporations focused on aging), seniors, caregivers and investors, promoting aging needs including transportation, housing, caregiving, financial security, healthcare and many other issues — all with the “build with, not for” philosophy.
