Learn more about the new assisted living rules and how they will impact your company from leaders in assisted living. Get a better understanding of the new requirements for kitchens, labor laws, business management, falls and lift assist policies, cultural competency, and mandated staff training. Most agencies will need to re-write many of their policies and procedures. These topics and more will be the subject of training offered by the Colorado Gerontological Society. The new rules were implemented on July 1, 2018 by the Colorado Department of Public Health.

The training is led by Eileen Doherty, MS, Executive Director of the Colorado Gerontological Society. She has more than 20 years experience teaching Assisted Living Administrator certification courses, and more than 40 years experience in aging. She was deeply involved in the rule-making process for the new regulations and will provide a in-depth inside look at what these new regulations mean for you.
