Do you work with Latino seniors and need tools to increase your service delivery approach? What approach to use, person or family-centered? This training is designed to provide professionals in the aging field with tools to address culturally responsive service delivery to Latino seniors in the new world of service plans, care plans, and life plans.
Maria Madrid, Latino Services Project Manager at CGS, has ten years of case management experience in HCBS waivers for both children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Maria specialized in agency-wide development and internal and external quality assurance reviews. She has over 10 years of experience working with seniors at Dancing For My Heart, a non-profit, dedicated to empowering minority women to live heart healthy lives.
Cost of training is $150 per person. Training runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on October 17, 2017. Training is located at Colorado Gerontological Society, Conference Room (Suite 109), 1330 Leyden St, Denver, CO 80220.
