As an older adult, even if you don’t have any taxable income, Coloradoans over 65 can receive up to a $1000 Senior Income Tax Credit with less than $25,000 annual income.
Individuals earning up to $75,000 are also eligible for the Senior Income Income Tax Credit, if they do not receive the Senior Property Tax Exemption.
The form must be filed by April 15, 2023. Additionally, individuals 18 and over are eligible for a second Tabor Refund.
To claim the Senior Income Tax Credit and the second Tabor Refund, if you do not have any taxable wages, file both the Colorado Income Tax Form DR0104 and DR0104CR. Learn more about how to file the forms.
