The Colorado Gerontological Society is participating in Giving Tuesday, an international day of giving. It is a time to share your time, talent, and treasure by making a donation, or volunteering to support our work.
Your donation today directly helps us provide programs and services that vulnerable seniors depend on. And if you choose to volunteer, you’ll be offering connection and care during the holiday season — at a time when many older adults may feel left behind.
Giving Tuesday Volunteering
The Society invites you to volunteer to help with delivering 350 Holiday Baskets to low income older adults in Metro Denver on December 13, 2025.
We welcome volunteers throughout the year for a variety of other projects! Learn more about other volunteer projects here.
The Society is also accepting donations to continue to place Telephone Buddies with older adults who are in need of companionship and a human voice to talk to on a regular basis.
The Society is also accepting donations to continue to provide services to the older Coloradoans including but not limited to Holiday Baskets, Medicare/Medicaid and benefits counseling, Aging in Place virtual educational programming, Advance Care Planning, and our newest initiative to help thousands of older adults apply for the 2024 tax credit/rebates approved during the last legislative session.
