Donate to the Holiday Baskets for Seniors

The Colorado Gerontological Society collects donations of food and personal care items in order to fill 200 Holiday Baskets for low-income seniors, who will be spending the holidays alone and do not have family or friends in the area. Through the generous donations of our community partners, we are able to fill each basket with approximately $75 worth of groceries and other items. Cash donations are accepted to purchase fresh fruit, bread, chickens & small personal gifts. You can also donate online to support this project. This year we are collecting the following food and personal care items:

  • Boxed potatoes
  • Rice
  • Noodles
  • Canned corn
  • Canned beans
  • Canned peas
